Athletes complete 6 workout stations alternating with 800m runs and 2km cycling intervals. Your total time is recorded from start to finish, including individual split times per station. The course runs through the Pilatus Arena in a dynamic circuit built for both performance and spectacle.
There are 6 workout stations: Ski Erg, Worm Squats, Box Jump, Burpees over Box, Rowing, and Airbike. Each station is separated by either an 800m run or a 2km cycling interval, keeping the race constantly moving.
Yes – Grind Games offers multiple formats: Singles (individual), Doubles (pairs of 2), and Teams (groups of 4). There is also the exclusive Icon category where fans compete alongside their favourite athletes and personalities.
Not at all. Grind Games welcomes everyone from serious competitors to first-time fitness racers. The Run + Cycle format creates a lower barrier to entry compared to other race formats, while still delivering a real challenge for elite-level athletes.
Each athlete is equipped with a timing chip worn at the ankle. This allows accurate tracking of total race time as well as split times for each station.
Your ticket includes participation in the race, official time tracking, access to the event infrastructure and the full Grind Games experience.
